|Raja was a precious angel of a puppy. He was the first pup born in Aurora's
first litter and a pleasure of a pup to be around. He grew up in the short time
he was here as an outgoing, playful, confident puppy, with a soft, fluffy coat
and even softer big brown eyes. He was always curious and courageous,
but never mischievous or a trouble maker. He was the pup who would
snuggle next to me and calmly lay in the room while the rest of the litter was
causing trouble. He seemed to be an old soul in a very young body.
Raja was with his family for only a few short weeks, but took their hearts
within that short time. He left his mark with everyone he met and was the
pick male in the litter. He died on May 4, 2012, only a day after he turned 12
weeks. He developed Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)
following a distemper vaccination he receive 3 days prior. He developed a
fever and a severe and fatal inflammatory reaction in his lungs from the
vaccination. A full necropsy was done to determine his cause of death.
He is still missed by us and his family and has left a hole in all of our hearts.
He was taken way, way too soon. Until we meet again, my little angel...
